Continuing our recent theme of helping YOU ‘Find The Best Tipsters’ that are out there, this week my attention turns to the thorny subject of odds availability.

If you haven’t really thought about this before, then stand up and take note!! This is a massive issue for anyone following a tipster, because if you can’t get the odds advised (and more importantly the odds that results are settled to) then what is the point?

It’s something that trips up many a novice  punter who joins a service based on outstanding results, only to then find that you can’t actually get the odds they suggest.

This week, to continue our guide on ‘finding the best tipsters’, I want to focus on just how much they cost…and just how much you should expect to pay for tips (if at all!).

It’s fair to say that prices for tipsters can vary a fair bit.  But thankfully it doesn’t always mean that the tipster charging the highest amount will offer the best results.

Which is why in the latest SBC magazine we unveiled the winners of our 2013 Tipster & Betting Awards, to try and reveal to you the tipsters who win regularly. As voted for by the people who use them day in, day out – SBC members, thus ensuring that those scooping the best awards are bonafide money making tipsters.

To find the winners for the awards, we asked each SBC member to vote for their top tipsters of the past year in 5 different categories:

• Best Sports Betting Tipster (i.e. anyone not a horse racing tipster)
• Best Horse Racing Tipster
• Best Football Only Tipster
• Best Tipster Newcomer
• Best Overall Tipster (The biggie!)
