GOLF: Golf Insider hits a Homa run!

Max Homa did the business for Golf Insider by picking up the first tournament of the new (!) PGA Tour season yesterday at odds of 14/1.  I can never quite get my head around the concept of a new season starting in mid-September, but there we are.  With 66/1 shot Victor Perez finishing in the frame too it was a good week for GI.

Overall however, we ended up with a small golfing loss.

PGA Profit finished just slightly in the black thanks to Rickie Fowler placing in the same Fortinet Championship at 100/1, but blank weeks for Tour Tips and Weekly Golf Value not quite getting the rub of the green, was enough to wipe out the Golf Insider profits.

Weekly Golf Value now sits on its deepest drawdown (to my figures) for the year to date.  Going into the the final rounds yesterday things looked pretty promising but a wipe out on the LIV tournie – where stakes were generally higher – meant a loss despite finding golfers to place in the PGA and DP World Tour events.  Nothing to worry about with WV though.  It’s still by far the best performing golf service I’ve followed this year and running at a pretty darned decent 26.3% ROI.
