You may recall my saying after the last big Bookie Basher Racing Tracker Lucky 15 I had that it could well be a while until the next. As far as ‘whiles’ go, so far this has been just a ‘little while’. A month, six weeks perhaps since that last big return? No time at all, really. Could be a lot bigger of a ‘while’ yet before the next one comes along.
This last week saw a bit of profit added to the bank with a Lucky 15 that netted just a shade over 8 points of profit last Thursday. My only slight concern however is that I am beginning to lose viable bookie accounts. Not because of BB Racing Tracker, you understand. It’s just that inevitable stage of proceedings most if not all have grown familiar with. First the restrictions, then the eventual process of redundancy. I’m going to have to go down the cash route, and that is going to cause logistical issues. Where there is a will, however, there is a way.
Talking to the SBC’s very own Head Honcho Pete this week, he compared horse racing as a gateway drug, offered up by the bookies to get people to sign up, start betting, and then be drawn through tempting offer after tempting offer into the online casinos. That’s where they want you. It’s all a rather sad state of affairs, but I like the analogy.
