As mentioned previously this week, the death of the Queen last week had a direct impact on sport, including horse racing, which was cancelled in the UK last Friday. With Northern Monkey not putting up a bet in the first part of the week, and with my not being able to place any bets at all on either Saturday or Sunday, it’s felt like an unexpected holiday from betting presented itself.
Can’t say I’m sorry. Like I said on Monday, betting can often become something of a grind, and the odd break from it is no bad thing. The upshot of course, is that there’s very little to report.
No reason why we won’t be back to normal next week.
