Why did you join the Smart Betting Club?

It has been a while but I remember at that time I was looking to expand my knowledge around the world of sports betting in general. After a lot of trial and error I was finally getting some really encouraging results from my own personal bets back then and I thought it would be a good idea to complement my bets with those of other people who were doing equally well. The problem was that 6 years ago the scam was just around the corner in the betting industry and you simply didn’t know who you could trust to give you some honest advice and tipster reviews. But then I discovered SBC and the rest is history as they say.

How has the Smart Betting Club helped you?

Aside from the obvious monitoring and reviewing of tipster services, I would say SBC has helped me mostly on my overall betting education through guides, reports, interviews etc. Back when I was starting out, I used to think that simply finding some profitable, honest tipster services was all that I needed to do to be successful. Through years of experience I have found out that this is actually the easy part now! The hard part is assessing if those services will be suitable for me to follow, how to follow properly (staking plan, bank) and most importantly whether they meet my own personal criteria. That’s where my “betting education” through SBC comes into play. I still rely on SBC reports to get some crucial info and stats on the services I’m interested in but I have now developed my own set of rules for assessing them myself after that.

What do you like most about the Smart Betting Club service?

Tipster savings. Especially if you plan on following multiple tipster services and take long-term plans, you can save a ton of money, certainly more than enough to cover your SBC cost of subscription for several years.

What are your betting plans for the future?

After testing and experimenting with various tipster services I now have a hard core of tipsters I’m following so having stabilized my betting portfolio, my next goal is to go forward with them for the immediate future and perhaps look to expand with a couple of more down the road if the opportunity arises. Operating a portfolio of around 10 services strikes a good balance for me between risk diversification and the logistics of following. Having said that, I have found out that some kind of tipster rotation is unavoidable once in a while especially when following so many of them. Your personal circumstances may change, the betting markets change, tipsters sometimes lose their edge, so we have to adapt.

What would you say to anyone considering a SBC membership but unsure as to whether to take the plunge?

I won’t deny that I have had my doubts as well before joining. Frankly the betting industry, from wannabe tipsters to shady bookies, has given plenty of reasons to be suspicious of everything and everyone but this is also the type of industry where you can’t survive for long by being dishonest. If you are serious about your betting and want to take it to the next level, SBC is a necessary step.
