Well, no excitement to even approach that we saw last week. It’s very much been a case of the morning after the night before with everything feeling a little bit flat. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read last week’s racing Bet Diary post.
Bet Alchemist tried its best and enjoyed a good week which included tipping the winner of the Scottish National on Saturday. The profit BA provided meant that the week was more or less one that broke even overall.
Northern Monkey really is feeling the pinch at the moment and I hope that the traditionally strong summer flat racing months will soon begin to claw the losses back. As for the Bookiebashing Racing Tracker, this was one of those weeks (and I imagine there will be plenty of them whilst we wait for another big win to come along) when not much happened. Indeed, I didn’t place a multiple bet between Monday and Wednesday. I have decided that I’m going to look to bet each way patents (three horses) as well as Lucky 15s (four) and have started to follow that strategy.
Aintree and THE Grand National this week. Let’s see what happens.
